~ UPCOMING EVENTS ~

New work in the coming years will include:

- A new music theater work featuring Rinde Eckert and eighth blackbird to premiere in June 2009.

- A violin concerto for Leila Josefowicz with the St. Louis Symphony and the BBC Philharmonic orchestra to premiere in 08/09.

- A new double concerto for electric guitar and violin for Steve to play with British Violinist Anthony Marwood and the Irish Chamber Orchestra to premire in the Fall of 2009.

- A new work for the So percussion Quartet to premiere in the Fall of 2009.

~ GUITAR GEAR ~

I’m occasionally asked what kind of guitar gear I use:

I play Tom Anderson guitars, through a digitech 2120 artist effects processor (no longer made), a Lexicon Jam-Man (no longer made), a Line 6 POD amp simulator, a Haffler P3000 studio monitor power amp, coming out a custom made spherical speaker. I’ve tried to update the gear that is no longer made but I keep coming back to the gear that produces “my sound” until it all breaks and I’m forced to move on.
